Event Registration Terms & Conditions SingaporeandYou
- These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your registration for any SingaporeAndYou training or event. These Terms should be read in conjunction with the Terms of Use of the SingaporeAndYou website (“Terms of Use”), which also apply to your registration for any SingaporeAndYou event.
- By registering for any event (including the events), you unconditionally accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and the Terms of Use. Any non-compliance with these Terms or the Terms of Use may result in civil or criminal liability. If you do not agree to these Terms or the Terms of Use, please do not register for an event.
- The services are provided through SingaporeAndYou (referred to as SAY in this document), which reserves the right to change these Terms from time to time. SAY will inform you of any such changes before your registration for any event. Your registration will constitute your unconditional agreement to the modified Terms and all of the changes.
- By participating in any SAY event, you acknowledge and agree to the following: You understand that participation in the event may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, emotional distress, or other unforeseen circumstances. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless SAY, its affiliates, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or losses arising from your participation in this event. By enrolling in this event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this liability waiver.”
- If you are registering for an event on behalf of an individual (“Individual”), you represent and warrant that you have been validly authorized to (a) register for the event on behalf of the Individual, and (b) agree to and bind the Individual to these Terms and the Terms of Use. You shall ensure that the Individual complies with all the terms and conditions in these Terms. Any breach of these Terms by an Individual shall be deemed a breach by you of these Terms or the Terms of Use. Any reference to ‘you’ or ‘your’ in these Terms shall include any and all Individuals for whom you are registering for events.
- The following shall apply unless otherwise stated for a specific event or by a TP:
6.1. Withdrawal
6.1.1. Requests to withdraw from an event must be made in writing to singaporeandyou@outlook.com, and shall be subject to acceptance by SAY.
6.2. Refund of event fees paid prior to event commencement
6.2.1. For withdrawal requests made at least fourteen (14) days prior to the event’s commencement and accepted by SAY, 50% of the event fees will be refunded.
6.2.2. For withdrawal requests made before the event’s commencement but less than fourteen (14) working days prior to the event’s commencement and accepted by SAY, 50% of the event fees will be refunded (excluding event material fees and third-party fees, where applicable, which will be fully payable).
6.2.3. For withdrawal requests made on or after event’s commencement, including but not limited to no-show during event run, no refund will be provided.
6.2.4. For withdrawal requests that are not accepted by SAY, no refund will be provided.
6.3. Payment of event fees that have not yet been paid prior to event commencement
6.3.1. For withdrawal requests made at least fourteen (14) working days prior to event commencement and accepted by SAY, the event fees will not be billed.
6.3.2. For withdrawal requests made before event commencement but less than fourteen (14) working days before event commencement and accepted by SAY, 50% of the event fees will be billed.
6.3.3. For withdrawal requests made on or after event commencement day, including but not limited to no-show during the event, 100% of the event fees will be billed.
6.3.4. For withdrawal requests that are not accepted by SAY, 100% of the event fees will be billed.
6.4. Replacement of event participant
6.4.1. The event participant may be replaced by a substitute by giving SAY at least four (4) days’ written notice before event commencement. Any substitution of event participants with less than four (4) days’ written notice is not allowed and might be subject to charges.
6.5. Deferment
6.5.1. Subject to consent by SAY or the relevant TP at their sole discretion, deferment of an event participant’s attendance at an event may be granted on a case-by-case basis, including for compassionate or medical reasons. Supporting documents must be provided by the event participant to SAY and the relevant TP.
6.6. Billing
6.6.1. The entity registering on behalf of the Individual(s), will be invoiced by SAY or TP, with additional conditions by SAY or TP, if any. Please refer to the respective event page for more information on billing.
7. SAY reserves the right to change an event’s TP, event schedules, event content, event fees and event availabilities, by informing the changes on the website and emailing the changes to affected event participants. If you do not agree to any such changes, please withdraw from or do not register for the relevant event(s), as the case may be. Any withdrawal from an event shall be subject to Clause 6 above. Your participation in or registration for an event after such changes have been posted will constitute your unconditional agreement to all of the changes.
